The Oshawa Times

The Oshawa Times is now defunct. The website is no longer in operation and its social media page was last updated in November 2017. The Oshawa Times newspaper served Oshawa, Ontario for nearly 100 years before Thomson Newspapers closed the paper in 1994 after an employee strike. The Oshawa Times was reestablished as an online news publication in August 2016 by independent Oshawa community members who wanted more local news in their area.
