In early 2014 Glacier Media merged two daily newspapers in the Peace River region of British Columbia: the Dawson Creek Daily News and the Alaska Highway News in Fort St. John. The company said the Alaska Highway News would expand to cover Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson to the north and the surrounding areas.
