CityNews Ottawa 1310 AM (CIWW-AM) went off the air at 1 p.m. ET on October 26, 2023. The news station was simulcasting on 101.1 FM (CJET-FM) and that broadcast ended at the same time. Two of the station’s digital news reporters will continue to provide local news content on the CityNews Ottawa website. Rogers Sports & Media cited low audiences, revenue decline, and the CRTC’s restrictive regulatory policies as factors that contributed to their decision.

Proud FM 103.9 (CIRR-FM) went off the air on September 1, 2023. Evanov Communications announced on August 15, 2023, that it would be integrating the station with its sister station Z103.5 (CIDC-FM), with both on-air hosts moving to Z103.5. The station launched in Toronto in 2007 as the first commercial radio station targeting the LGBTQ+ audience.

Smithers Community Radio is a non-profit, volunteer-operated community radio station serving Smithers, British Columbia. The station launched in 2010 as a very low-power 5 watt station. On August 29, 2012, the CRTC approved the broadcasting licence application that allowed the station to broadcast at 50 watts and increase its service area.
